Our Pastor Notre Pasteur Our present pastor, Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy is the youngest to have occupied the post for many years. Born in 1977 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (known at the time as Zaire), he moved in 1985 with his family to Belgium where his father is a Minister in the United Protestant Church. In 2000 Lusa took his licence at the Faculty of Protestant Theology at Brussels University and has qualified as a teacher in Protestant religion. Fluent in French and English, Lusa also speaks three African languages. Since his appointment he has established himself well in the church, the wider community of the Cathedral, and the city at large. His fine sermons generate warn praise. ---- Notre pasteur actuel, Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy, est le plus jeune occupant du poste depuis plusieurs ans. Né en 1977 au République Démocratique du Congo (Zaire), il déménagea en 1985 avec sa famille en Belgique où son père est pasteur dans l'Église Protestante Unie. En 2000 il s'est licencié à la Faculté de Théologie Protestante à Bruxelles, et il est qualifié comme professeur de religion protestante. Il parle couramment le français et l'anglais, plus trois langues africaines. Après avoir été nommé, il s'est bien établi dans l'église wallonne et huguenote, dans la communauté étendue de la Cathédrale, et dans la ville de Cantorbéry. Ses prédications ont suscité une réponse chaleureuse. |
